Hi to the class of 1970!
I won't be able to make it to the reunion but I hope everyone has a great time.
I've been in California since August 1973. I'm a Registred Nurse since 1980 and worked In Hospitals for over 38 years. Currently in San Diego with my husband of 41 years. I have 2 sons 47 and 40 who live here too.
I agree it's very sad to see so many that have passed...most of the class of 70 are 70 now...hard to believe how fast our lives pass.

After graduation, I attended Fisk University in Nashville TN. After graduating from Fisk, I retuned home for a short while but then moved to Georgia where I took a job as an Elementary School teacher. Shortly thereafter I met and married my husband of now 46 years. I have not attended a reunion, and am looking forward to seeing classmates.

I am excited about our upcoming reunion. It's the first one I've heard about.
I wanted to check my profile info to be sure everything is updated, and I, too, checked out the Memorials tab. Quite a shock to see so many of my high school friends there.

Seems like high school meant more to me than I realized at the time. I lost my high school sweetheart, Billy Palmer, Aiken class of 1968 on May 6, 2018. Even though we both remarried after 38 years of marriage, he was always my greatest love and best friend. I still have my yearbook. My senior picture was never put in the yearbook because I moved around a lot. I would love to hear from my old friends Tammy Robbers and Joy Borchring (Kelly).
